Meet The Team
Dubiel Tavarez
Community Organizer
Dubiel Tavarez was born and raised in Washington Heights by Dominican parents and has dedicated his career to serving the Bronx since 2018. Most recently, he worked in the Highbridge sector, connecting families to essential services—including HRA, SNAP, and NYCHA—to help combat the housing crisis and bridge gaps in resource access.
For years, Dubiel has consistently put Bronx families first. He recently joined our team as a Community Organizer, bringing with him extensive experience and a deep-rooted passion for uplifting the Bronx community.
Nahomy Vasquez
Community Outreach
Prior to working for the MHCP I was working in the childcare field. For the past 2 years in this role I have worked with families in need. I have also developed a close relationship with schools parent coordinators. I'm currently the host of Coffee With Vasquez, a resource support group that meets every Tuesday from 5:00 PM to 6:15 PM. This is great opportunity to connect with residents and inform of them of different resources in the community. We have also incorporated workshops into these sessions to ensure that residents have an opportunity to discuss different topics.
Antonia Reyes
Community Outreach
Antonia Reyes is an Outreach Specialist for the Mott Haven Community Partnership with over five years of experience in community engagement. She began her tenure as a dedicated volunteer, assisting with vital initiatives like pop-up food pantries and coat giveaways to address immediate community needs. Ms. Reyes currently oversees the organization's Nutrition Program and Type 2 Diabetes Program. She is a proven professional whose efforts are central to connecting local parents and residents to essential resources and services.
